Temperature anomalies were warmer than usual for June 2024 throughout the eastern Caribbean. Trinidad, Tobago, Grenada, Saint Lucia, Dominica and Guadeloupe, Antigua, St Kitts, were between 0.75 o C and 1.50 o C warmer; Barbados ranged from 2.50 warmer in the southeast to predominantly between 0.75 and 1.50 o C warmer; Martinique was predominantly between 1.50 and 2.50 o C warmer, raging to 0.75 o C warmer in the extreme north; St Maarten was between 0.25 and 0.75 o C warmer; St Thomas ranged from 1.50 o C warmer in the extreme west to predominantly between 0.25 and 0.75 o C warmer; and St Croix was between 1.50 o C to 0.25 o C warmer. Temperatures in the Guianas ranged from 0.25 o C warmer to predominantly between 0.75 o C and 1.50 o C warmer. Aruba and Curacao were between 0.25 and 0.75 o C warmer. Puerto Rico was predominantly between 1.50 o C and 2.50 o C warmer, ranging to 0.75 o C warmer in the east. The Dominican Republic was between 0.25 o C and 0.75 o C warmer, ranging to 1.50 warmer in the east. Jamaica ranged from 0 o C to 0.75 o C cooler. Grand Cayman was between 0.25 o C warmer to 0.25 o C cooler. Northern Bahamas was between 0 o C to 0.75 o C warmer, and Belize ranged from 2.50 o C to 0.75 o C warmer.
April to June 2024
Temperature anomalies were warmer than usual over the three-month period throughout the eastern Caribbean. Trinidad and Martinique ranged from 1.50 o C warmer to 2.50 o C warmer; Tobago, Barbados, Grenada, , Saint Lucia, , Guadeloupe, and St Maarten were between 0.75 and 1.50 o C warmer; Dominica was between 2.50 and 0.75 o C warmer south to north; Antigua, St Thomas and St Croix were between 0.25 and 0.75 o C warmer; St Kitts ranged from 0.25 o C warmer to predominantly between 0.75 and 1.50 o C warmer. The Guianas were between 0.75 to 2.50 o C warmer. Aruba and Curacao were between 0.75 to 1.50 o C warmer. Puerto Rico and Jamaica were between 0 to 0.75 o C warmer. The Dominican Republic ranged from 1.50 o C warmer in the south to predominantly between to 0.25 to 0.75 o C warmer. Grand Cayman was between 0.75 and 1.50 o C warmer. Northern Bahamas was between 0.25 and 1.50 o C warmer. Belize was between 1.50 and 2.50 o C warmer.
January to June 2024
Temperature anomalies were warmer than usual for January to June 2024 throughout the eastern Caribbean. Trinidad, Tobago, Grenada, Saint Lucia, Guadeloupe and St Maarten were between 0.75 and 1.50 o C warmer; Barbados and Dominica were between 1.50 and 2.50 o C warmer; Martinique was predominantly between 0.75 and 1.50 o C warmer, ranging to 2.50 o C warmer on the northern coastline; Antigua was between 0.25 and 0.75 o C warmer; St Kitts St Thomas and St. Croix were predominantly between 0.25 to 0.75 o C warmer, ranging to 1.50 o C warmer The Guianas were between 2.50 to 0.75 o C warmer. Aruba and Curacao were between 0.75 and 1.50 o C warmer. Puerto Rico and Dominican Republic were between 0.25 to 2.50 o C warmer. Jamaica and Grand Cayman were between 0.75 and 1.50 o C warmer. Northern Bahamas was between 0 and 0.75 o C warmer. Belize was between 0.75 and 2.50 o C warmer.
July 2023 to June 2024
Temperature anomalies were warmer than usual over the twelve-month period throughout the eastern Caribbean. Trinidad between 1.50 to 2.50 o C warmer; Tobago and Barbados ranged from 2.50 to 0.75 o C warmer; Grenada, Saint Lucia, Martinique and Dominica were between 0.75 to 1.50 o C warmer; Guadeloupe was between 0.25 o C warmer to predominantly between 0.75 to 1.50 o C warmer; Antigua, St Kitts and St Maarten were between 0.25 to 0.75o C warmer; St Thomas and St Croix were between 1.50 to 0.25 o C warmer. The Guianas ranged from 0.75 o C warmer to predominantly between 1.50 and 2.50 o C warmer. Aruba and Curacao were between 0.75 and 1.50 o C warmer. Puerto Rico ranged from 0.75 to 2.50 o C warmer.
