Mixed conditions prevailed throughout the islands of the eastern Caribbean during the month of April. Trinidad and Grenada moderately wet to normal; Tobago normal; Barbados very to slightly wet; St Vincent severe to moderately dry; Saint Lucia slightly dry to normal; Martinique and Antigua moderately dry to normal; Dominica normal to moderately wet; Guadeloupe extremely dry in the west to moderately wet in the east; St Kitts moderate to extremely dry; St Maarten severely dry to normal; Anguilla and St Thomas normal to slightly wet and St Croix moderate to slightly dry. In the Guianas, conditions ranged from extremely wet to moderately dry. Aruba was normal and Curacao very to moderately wet. Puerto Rico moderately wet in the extreme west to predominantly normal. The Dominican Republic ranged from severely dry to very wet west to east. Jamaica ranged from normal in the extreme south to extremely wet in the northwest. Grand Cayman was very wet. Cuba ranged from normal in east central areas to moderately wet in the west and to very wet in the extreme southeast. Northern Bahamas ranged from normal to very wet and Belize ranged from extremely dry in the west to extremely wet in a small area in the east.
February to April 2022
Over the three month period conditions throughout the eastern Caribbean were predominantly normal to above normal. Trinidad ranged from exceptionally wet to normal south to north; Tobago, Grenada, Dominica, Guadeloupe moderately wet to normal; Barbados and St Thomas very to extremely wet; St Vincent predominantly moderate to slightly dry; Saint Lucia and Antigua normal; Martinique and St Maarten normal to slightly dry ; St Kitts slightly wet to normal; Anguilla normal and St Croix slightly wet to normal. In the Guianas, conditions ranged from normal to exceptionally wet. Aruba was normal and Curacao was moderately wet. Puerto Rico ranged from moderate to exceptionally wet west to east. The Dominican Republic ranged from normal to moderately wet. Jamaica ranged from exceptionally wet in the west to normal in southern and northern areas. Grand Cayman `ranged from slight to moderately wet in the extreme east. Cuba ranged from moderately dry in west central areas to moderately wet in the extreme west and eastern areas. Northern Bahamas ranged from normal to moderately dry and Belize ranged from moderately dry in the west to exceptionally wet in the east.
November 2021 to April 2022
Conditions throughout the eastern Caribbean were predominantly normal to below normal over the six month period. Trinidad ranged from exceptionally wet in the south to extremely dry o+n the extreme northern border. Tobago and St Croix moderately dry; Grenada predominantly normal to slightly dry; Barbados, Dominica and St Maarten normal to moderately dry; St Vincent and Saint Lucia predominantly extreme to exceptionally dry; Martinique exceptionally dry in the south to moderately dry in the north; Guadeloupe slight to extremely dry; Antigua extreme to moderately dry; St Kitts and St Thomas normal; Anguilla predominantly normal to slightly wet in the north. In the Guianas, conditions were normal to exceptionally wet. Aruba was slightly dry to normal and Curacao was normal. Puerto Rico ranged from normal to moderately wet. The Dominican Republic was predominantly normal with slightly dry conditions on the southern border. Jamaica ranged from moderately wet in the west to normal in the east. Grand Cayman ranged from slight to predominantly moderately wet. Cuba was predominantly normal ranging to moderately dry in west central areas and to moderately wet in the extreme southeast. Northern Bahamas ranged from slightly wet to normal and Belize was predominantly normal ranging to moderately dry in the west and to moderately wet in the east.

Throughout the eastern Caribbean conditions were predominantly normal to below normal over the twelve month period. Trinidad ranged from exceptionally wet to normal southwest to northeast; Tobago and Barbados normal to moderately dry; Grenada slightly wet in the south to predominantly normal; St Vincent and St Croix moderate to severely dry; Saint Lucia and Martinique severe to exceptionally dry; Dominica moderately dry; Guadeloupe moderate to exceptionally dry; Antigua predominantly exceptional to extremely dry; St Kitts slight to moderately dry; St Maarten severely dry to normal; Anguilla slightly dry to slightly wet south to north and St Thomas normal. In the Guianas, conditions ranged from normal to exceptionally wet. Aruba was slightly dry and Curacao was normal. Puerto Rico ranged from normal to moderately wet south to north. The Dominican Republic ranged from moderately dry in southern areas to normal. Jamaica ranged from moderately wet in northwestern areas to extremely dry on the southeastern border. Grand Cayman ranged from normal to slightly wet. Cuba ranged from exceptionally dry in the extreme southwest to moderately wet in the southeast. Northern Bahamas ranged from normal to moderately dry and Belize was predominantly normal, ranging to moderately dry in the extreme south.
May 2020 to April 2022
Over the two year period conditions throughout the eastern Caribbean were mainly normal to below normal. Trinidad exceptionally wet to normal southwest to northeast, Tobago normal to moderately dry; Grenada normal to slightly dry; Barbados and St Thomas normal; St Vincent and Antigua extreme to severely dry; Saint Lucia, Martinique and Guadeloupe moderate to extremely dry; Dominica extremely dry to normal; St Kitts slight to severely dry; St Maarten extremely dry to normal; Anguilla normal to moderately wet and St Croix moderately dry. In the Guianas, conditions ranged from mostly exceptionally wet to normal. Aruba and Curacao were normal. Puerto Rico was predominantly normal ranging to slightly wet in the north. The Dominican Republic ranged from exceptionally dry in the extreme southwest to normal. Jamaica ranged from extremely wet on the extreme northwestern border to slightly wet in the west and to extremely dry in the east. Grand Cayman ranged from normal to predominantly slightly wet. Cuba ranged from slightly dry in western areas to very wet in the southeast. Northern Bahamas ranged from extremely wet to normal and Belize ranged from predominantly normal to moderately wet.

Trinidad ranged from very to slightly wet southwest to northeast; Tobago, Grenada, Barbados and St Vincent normal; Saint Lucia , Martinique , St Maarten and Anguilla normal to slightly wet; Dominica and Guadeloupe exceptionally wet to normal; Antigua moderately wet to normal; St Kitts extreme to slightly wet; St Croix slightly dry to normal and St Thomas moderate to very wet. Conditions in the Guianas ranged from exceptionally wet to severely dry. Aruba was slightly wet and Curacao was moderately wet. Puerto Rico ranged from slight to very wet. Hispaniola ranged from extremely wet in central Dominican Republic to slightly wet in western Haiti and to normal in eastern Dominican Republic. Jamaica ranged from predominantly normal to exceptionally wet in the west, slightly wet in the east and to moderately dry in the extreme northwest. Grand Cayman ranged from moderate to slightly dry. Cuba ranged from extremely dry in west central areas to moderately wet in the northeast. Northern Bahamas ranged from normal to moderately dry and Belize ranged from normal in the west to extremely wet in the east.
January to March 2022
Mixed conditions were experienced over the three month period throughout the eastern Caribbean. Trinidad, Tobago, Grenada and St Maarten normal; Barbados, and Anguilla normal to slightly wet; St Vincent moderate to slightly dry; Saint Lucia slightly dry in the southwest to predominantly normal; Martinique normal to severely dry; Dominica normal to moderately wet; Guadeloupe extremely wet in the west to severely dry in the east; St Kitts exceptional to very wet; St Croix extreme to moderately wet; Antigua normal and St Thomas very to moderately wet. In The Guianas conditions ranged from normal to exceptionally wet. Aruba and Curacao were normal. Puerto Rico ranged from normal to exceptionally wet west to east. Hispaniola ranged from normal in southern areas to moderately wet in the north. Jamaica ranged from extremely wet in the west to moderately wet in the south and to severely dry in the northwest. Grand Cayman was slight to moderately wet. Cuba was slightly wet in the west ranging to moderately dry in the northwest and southeast and to moderately wet in the northeast. Northern Bahamas ranged from moderately wet to moderately dry and Belize was normal in the west to very wet in the east.

Normal to below normal conditions prevailed over the six month period in the eastern Caribbean. Trinidad, Tobago and St Kitts normal; Grenada, and St Thomas normal to slightly dry; Barbados and Antigua severe to exceptionally dry; St Vincent severe to extremely dry; Saint Lucia exceptional to moderately dry; Martinique exceptional to slightly dry; Dominica slightly wet to extremely dry; Guadeloupe normal to exceptionally dry west to east; St Maarten normal to moderately dry; St Croix slight to moderately dry west to east and Anguilla normal to slightly wet. In the Guianas, conditions ranged from moderately dry to exceptionally wet. Aruba was slightly dry and Curacao was normal. Puerto Rico ranged from slightly dry in western areas to very wet in the north. Hispaniola was predominantly normal with slightly wet conditions on the central Haiti/ Dominican Republic border, ranging to extremely dry in the extreme southeast of the Dominican Republic. Jamaica was predominantly normal ranging to slightly wet in the extreme west. Grand Cayman ranged from normal in the west to slightly wet in the east. The western half of Cuba ranged from slight to exceptionally dry, while the eastern half was normal. Northern Bahamas ranged from slightly wet to slightly dry and Belize ranged from slightly dry in western and southern areas to slightly wet in the northeast.
April 2021 to March 2022
Predominantly normal to below normal conditions were seen throughout the eastern Caribbean over the twelve month period. Trinidad moderate to slightly wet; Tobago, Grenada and St Thomas normal; Barbados extremely dry to normal; St Vincent moderate to severely dry; Saint Lucia predominantly severe to extremely dry; Martinique exceptional to extremely dry; Dominica moderate to extremely dry; Guadeloupe moderate to exceptionally dry; St Kitts normal to moderately dry; Antigua exceptionally dry; St Maarten severely dry to normal; Anguilla normal to slightly wet and St Croix moderately dry. Conditions in the Guianas ranged from slight to exceptionally wet. Aruba was slightly dry and Curacao was normal. Puerto Rico ranged from normal in southern areas to moderately wet in the north. Hispaniola was predominantly normal with slightly wet conditions on the central Haiti/Dominican Republic border ranging to moderately dry in the extreme southwest of Haiti and to severely dry in the extreme southeast of the Dominican Republic. Jamaica was mostly normal with slightly dry conditions in the extreme west and south, extremely dry areas in the east and slightly wet in the northwest. Grand Cayman was normal. Cuba ranged from exceptionally dry in the west to slightly wet in the southeast. Northern Bahamas was normal to moderately dry and Belize ranged from moderately dry in the south to normal in central and northern areas.
April 2020 to March 2022

Trinidad, St. Thomas and St. Croix were between 0 to 0.25 oC warmer; Tobago, Grenada, and St. Maarten between 0.25 and 0.75 to oC warmer; Barbados was between 1.50 oC cooler to 1.50 oC warmer; Saint Lucia was between 0.25 oC warmer to predominantly 0.75 oC cooler; Martinique was between 0.25 oC cooler and 0.75 oC warmer; Dominica was between 0.75 oC warmer and 0.75 oC cooler south to north; Guadeloupe was between 0 to 0.75 oC cooler; Antigua was between 0.25 cooler to 0.25 oC warmer; St. Kitts was between 0 and 0.75 oC warmer. In the Guianas, conditions ranged from at least 1.50 oC cooler to 1.50 oC warmer. Aruba was between 0 and 0.75 oC warmer and Curacao was between 0 and 0.25 oC cooler.
