The islands of the eastern Caribbean were predominantly normal to below normal for the month of October, with the exception of a few areas   that were slightly wet. Trinidad, St. Lucia and Guadeloupe ranged from normal to moderately dry ;Tobago, Dominica and Anguilla normal to slightly wet; Grenada and St. Thomas slightly dry; Barbados moderate to severely dry; St Vincent and Antigua normal to slightly dry; Martinique from slightly wet in the south to moderately dry in the north;; St Kitts severely dry; St Maarten normal;; And St Croix moderately dry. In the Guianas, conditions were mainly normal to extremely wet, with the exception of the northern part of Guyana which was slight to severely dry , the west and south west of Guyana that ranged from slight to exceptionally dry, and north east French Guiana which was slight to moderately dry. Curacao was slightly dry. Conditions in Puerto Rico ranged from normal in the west to severely dry in the extreme south east. Conditions in Hispaniola ranged from normal in the east and extreme west to severely dry around the Haiti/Dominican Republic border. Jamaica was normal to slightly dry from east to west, while Grand Cayman was normal. Cuba was predominantly normal with the exception of slightly dry conditions in the west central areas, and in the extreme west which was slight to moderately wet. Northern Bahamas ranged from slightly dry to extremely wet. Belize ranged from normal in central areas to moderately wet in the north and to exceptionally wet in the south.

August to October 2019

Rainfall in the eastern Caribbean over the three month period was predominantly normal to below normal, with the exception of Guadeloupe that ranged from slightly wet to extremely dry from west to east. Trinidad and Martinique were normal to severely dry; Tobago and St Kitts normal to slightly dry; Grenada slightly dry; St Vincent moderate to severely dry from south to north; Barbados exceptionally dry; St Lucia normal to moderately dry from north to south; Dominica slightly wet in the north to moderately dry in the south; Antigua, Anguilla, St Maarten; St Croix and St. Thomas normal.  Conditions in the Guianas were primarily normal to exceptionally wet, with the exception of northern part of Guyana which was slightly dry. Curacao was normal to slightly dry. Puerto Rico was predominantly normal with the exception of the extreme south west which was slightly dry. In Hispaniola, conditions ranged from slightly wet at the northern Haiti/Dominican Republic border to slightly dry in the extreme southwest of Haiti and to exceptionally dry in southeast Dominican Republic. In Jamaica, conditions were normal in the east to moderately dry in the extreme northwest, but Grand Cayman extreme to exceptionally dry from east to west.  With the exception of west central areas that were slight to moderately dry, conditions in Cuba were normal to very wet in the west and normal to moderately wet in the east. Northern Bahamas ranged from normal to moderately wet. In Belize, conditions ranged from extremely dry in central areas to normal in the north and south.

May to October 2019

For the six month period, rainfall in the eastern Caribbean was normal to below normal with the exception of Guadeloupe that was slightly wet to extremely dry and Antigua that was normal to slightly wet. Trinidad and Dominica were normal to severely dry; Tobago and Martinique normal  to extremely dry; Grenada slightly dry; Barbados severe to exceptionally dry from north to south; St Vincent  moderately dry; ; St Lucia moderate to severely dry;; St Kitts and St Croix slight to moderately dry; and Anguilla and St Maarten normal; and St. Thomas moderately dry. In the Guianas, conditions ranged from normal in Suriname and eastern Guyana to exceptionally wet in northern Guyana and extremely wet in northern French Guiana and in the vicinity of the southern Guyana/Suriname border. Curacao was moderately dry.  Puerto Rico ranged from normal in the northeast to moderately dry in the west. In Hispaniola, conditions ranged from normal in the north to moderately dry in southwest Haiti and extremely dry in south and southeast Dominican Republic. Jamaica ranged from moderately dry in west central areas to normal in the west and east, whereas Grand Cayman was moderate to severely dry from east to west. Cuba ranged from normal to very wet in the in east and the west with the exception of a slightly dry area in the west central areas. Northern Bahamas, ranged from very wet to extremely dry.  Belize was normal in the south to exceptionally dry in the north.

November 2018 to October 2019

Over the twelve month period, rainfall in the islands of the eastern Caribbean was normal to below normal, except for Guadeloupe that ranged from moderately wet to moderately dry from west to east.  Trinidad was exceptionally dry, with the exception of the extreme north eastern tip which was moderate to extremely dry; Tobago moderate to exceptionally dry from west to east; Grenada and St Vincent moderately dry; Barbados exceptionally dry; St Lucia moderate to extremely dry from south to north;  Martinique severely dry; Dominica normal in the north to moderately dry in the south;;  Antigua normal; St Kitts slight to moderately dry;  St Maarten slightly dry; and St Croix severe to extremely dry and Most of the Guianas was normal, with slight to exceptionally wet conditions in central Guyana, slight to moderately dry conditions in northern Guyana and the central Suriname/French Guiana border, and slightly dry to exceptionally dry along coastal areas of French Guiana.  Curacao was severe to extremely dry. Puerto Rico ranged from moderately dry in the east to extremely dry in the west. Hispaniola ranged from slightly dry in central areas to exceptionally dry in the east and west. In Jamaica, conditions were mostly normal, with the exception of the east which was slight to moderately dry, the northern extreme which was slightly dry and the extreme west which was slight to moderately wet. Grand Cayman was predominantly severely dry. In Cuba, conditions were mostly normal in central areas, ranging from slight to exceptionally dry in the east, and slight to moderately wet in the west. Northern Bahamas ranged from moderately wet to extremely dry. Belize ranged from normal in the south to exceptionally dry in the north.
