September 2025

Predominantly below normal conditions were seen throughout the islands of the eastern Caribbean during the month of September. Trinidad was exceptionally wet to extremely dry southeast to northwest; Tobago  and Guadeloupe extremely dry to normal; Grenada moderate to extremely dry; Barbados predominantly extreme to severely dry; St Vincent exceptionally dry; Saint Lucia exceptional to severely dry; Martinique moderately dry to mostly normal; Dominica extremely dry to slightly wet southwest to northeast; Antigua normal; St Kitts predominantly slightly dry to normal; St Maarten moderate to slightly dry; Anguilla moderately dry to normal; St Croix extreme to moderately wet and St Thomas slightly wet. In the Guianas, conditions ranged from extremely wet to exceptionally dry. Aruba was slightly dry and Curacao was normal. Puerto Rico was predominantly normal ranging to slightly wet in the east. The Dominican Republic ranged from normal in central areas to extremely wet in the west and to slightly wet in the east. Jamaica ranged from slightly dry in the south to extremely wet in the north. Grand Cayman was moderately dry. Cuba ranged from normal in west central areas to moderately wet in the extreme west and to extremely wet in the east. Northern Bahamas and Belize were exceptionally wet to normal.

July to September 2025   

Over the three month period predominantly below normal conditions were seen throughout the eastern Caribbean. Trinidad was exceptionally wet to extremely dry; Tobago and St Maarten  normal to moderately dry; Grenada and St Vincent exceptionally dry; Barbados and Saint Lucia exceptional to extremely dry; Martinique exceptional to slightly dry; Dominica and Guadeloupe exceptional to moderately dry; Antigua moderate to slightly dry; St Kitts normal to slightly dry; Anguilla normal; St Croix moderate to slightly wet and St Thomas normal. Conditions in the Guianas ranged from exceptionally wet to exceptionally dry. Aruba was severe to extremely dry and Curacao was moderately dry to normal from west to east. Puerto Rico normal to slightly wet. The Dominican Republic moderately wet to severely dry from west to east. Jamaica was severely dry to exceptionally wet. Grand Cayman was moderately dry. Cuba was mostly normal ranging from slightly dry in the southwest to extremely wet in the west and to very wet in eastern areas. Northern Bahamas ranged from exceptionally wet to normal and Belize ranged from moderately dry to moderately wet.

April to September 2025

Mixed conditions were experienced across the islands of the Caribbean over the six month period. Trinidad was exceptionally wet to normal; Tobago and St Kitts normal to slightly dry; Grenada severe to exceptionally dry; Barbados, Guadeloupe; St Maarten and St Kitts moderately dry to normal; St Vincent exceptionally dry; Saint Lucia extremely dry to normal; Martinique and Dominica exceptionally dry to normal; Antigua normal; Anguilla normal to moderately wet; St Croix exceptional to very wet and St Thomas moderate to slightly wet. In the Guianas, conditions varied from exceptionally wet to slightly dry. Aruba was extremely dry and Curacao slightly wet to slightly dry. Puerto Rico was moderate to slightly wet south to north. The Dominican Republic ranged from moderately wet to moderately dry. Jamaica ranged from extremely dry to exceptionally wet. Grand Cayman severe to extremely dry; Cuba was exceptionally dry in central areas ranging to exceptionally wet in the west to slightly wet in the extreme east. Northern Bahamas ranged from normal to extremely wet and Belize was severely dry to slightly wet from southwest to northeast.

October 2024 to September 2025

Predominantly normal to below normal conditions were experienced over the twelve month period throughout the eastern Caribbean. Trinidad was exceptionally wet to normal; Tobago predominantly normal to slightly dry; Grenada, Saint Lucia, Guadeloupe, St Kitts and St Maarten normal to moderately dry; Barbados and Dominica severely dry to normal; St Vincent extreme to slightly dry; Martinique normal to extremely dry; Antigua normal; Anguilla mostly normal to slightly wet; St Croix severe to moderately dry and St Thomas moderate to very wet. In the Guianas, conditions ranged from exceptionally wet to severely dry. Aruba was moderately dry and Curacao normal to moderately dry. Puerto Rico ranged from normal to very wet from west to east. The Dominican Republic was slightly dry in central areas ranging to moderately wet in the west and east. Jamaica ranged from moderately wet in the west to extremely dry in northern areas and to normal in the extreme east. Grand Cayman was moderately dry. Cuba was moderately dry in southcentral areas ranging to very wet in the west and to extremely wet in the extreme east and to extremely dry in the extreme southeast. Northern Bahamas ranged from slightly dry to moderately wet and Belize was severely dry in the southwest to exceptionally wet in the northeast.

October 2023 to September 2025
