Looking Back: November 2025 to January 2026

Rainfall
  • The transition period between Wet and Dry Season brought seasonable rainfall totals. No extremely low or high rainfall totals were reported in the Caribbean.
Temperature
  • The transition into and first two months of the annual Cool Season in November and December to January, respectively, still featured 0.5-1.0ºC warmer than usual temperatures in many locations, including record warm temperatures in the Northern Bahamas.
  • By contrast, the passage of unusually strong cold fronts through Belize in January led to near-average temperatures being reported there.
