June 2021

Conditions throughout the eastern Caribbean were predominantly normal to above normal for the month of June. Trinidad ranged from normal in the west to moderately dry in the southeast; Tobago moderately wet to normal; Grenada very wet; Barbados normal to very wet; St Vincent, Antigua and St Croix normal; Saint Lucia slightly dry to moderately wet south to north; Martinique very wet in the south to severely dry in the north; Dominica normal to very wet;  Guadeloupe moderately wet to normal; St Kitts normal to slightly wet; St Maarten moderate to slightly wet; Anguilla slightly wet and St Thomas moderately wet. Conditions in the Guianas ranged from exceptionally wet to severely dry. Aruba was moderately dry and Curacao was normal. Puerto Rico ranged from slight to extremely wet from west to east. Hispaniola ranged from moderately dry on the southern border to moderately wet in northeast central Dominican Republic. Jamaica ranged from extremely wet in the west to moderately dry in the east. Grand Cayman was normal. Cuba ranged from slightly dry to moderately wet. Northern Bahamas ranged from normal to moderately dry and Belize ranged from moderately dry in central areas to normal in the south and northern areas.

April to June 2021

Mixed conditions prevailed throughout the eastern Caribbean over three month period. Trinidad ranged from slightly dry in the southeast to very wet in the northwest; Tobago moderately wet to normal; Grenada extremely wet in the south to moderately wet in the north; Barbados normal to slightly wet;  St Vincent slight to moderately dry; Saint Lucia and Guadeloupe normal to moderately dry; Martinique normal to severely dry; Dominica and St Croix  slightly dry to normal;  Antigua severely dry; St Kitts moderately dry; St Maarten and Anguilla normal; St Thomas slight to moderately wet. Conditions in the Guianas ranged from normal to exceptionally wet. Aruba was moderately dry and Curacao was normal. Puerto Rico ranged from very wet in the northwest to normal in eastern areas. Hispaniola was predominantly normal with slightly dry conditions in the extreme southwestern areas of Haiti and the Dominican Republic. Jamaica ranged from predominantly normal in central areas to moderately dry in the west and to severely dry in the east. Grand Cayman was normal. Cuba was predominantly normal with slight to moderately dry conditions in the extreme west. Northern Bahamas ranged from normal to severely dry and Belize was predominantly normal with moderate to slightly dry conditions in western and south central areas.

January to June 2021

Over the six month period conditions in the eastern Caribbean were mixed. Trinidad ranged from extremely wet in the southwest to normal in the northeast; Tobago slight to moderately wet; Grenada very to moderately wet; Barbados normal to moderately wet; St Vincent slight to moderately dry; Saint Lucia, St Thomas and Anguilla normal; Martinique and St Maarten normal to moderately dry; Dominica predominantly normal with slightly dry conditions on the extreme southern border; Guadeloupe normal to severely dry;  Antigua extreme to exceptionally dry; St Kitts moderate to severely dry; St Croix moderately dry. Conditions in the Guianas ranged from slight to exceptionally wet. Aruba was normal and Curacao moderately wet. Puerto Rico ranged from moderately wet in the extreme northwest to normal in central and eastern areas. Hispaniola was predominantly normal ranging to severely dry in the extreme southwestern tips of Haiti and the Dominican Republic. Jamaica ranged from predominantly normal in central areas to moderately dry in the extreme west and to severely dry in the extreme east. Grand Cayman was normal. Cuba was predominantly normal ranging to severely dry in the extreme west. Northern Bahamas ranged from slight to exceptionally dry and Belize ranged from normal in central areas to moderately dry in the south and slightly wet in the north.

July 2020 to June 2021

Mixed conditions were observed over the twelve month period in the eastern Caribbean.  Trinidad ranged from extremely wet to normal west to east; Tobago normal to slightly wet; Grenada, Antigua, Anguilla, St marten and St Thomas normal; Barbados moderately wet; St Vincent moderately dry; saint Lucia and St Kitts normal to slightly dry; Martinique ranged from slightly wet in the south to severely dry in the north; Dominica moderately dry in the south to moderately wet in the north; Guadeloupe normal to slightly dry; St Croix severe to moderately dry. In the Guianas conditions ranged from slight to exceptionally wet. Aruba was normal and Curacao slightly wet. Puerto Rico ranged from normal in the southeast to moderately wet in the northwest. Hispaniola was predominantly normal ranging to moderately wet in northwest Haiti to severely dry in the extreme southwestern tip of the Dominican Republic. Jamaica ranged from moderately wet in t central areas to slightly dry in the extreme west and to slightly wet in the south east. Grand Cayman was moderately wet. Cuba ranged from extremely wet in west central areas to slightly wet in the extreme west and to normal in the southeast. Northern Bahamas ranged from normal to very wet and Belize ranged from normal in central areas to extremely dry in the west and to moderately wet in northern areas.

July 2019 to June 2021

Trinidad, Grenada and Guadeloupe were between 0 to 0.75 oC cooler; Tobago was between 0 to 0.25 oC cooler; Barbados was between 0.75 oC cooler to 0.25 oC warmer; Saint Lucia between 0.25 and 0.75 oC cooler; Martinique and Dominica were between 0.25 oC cooler to 0.75 oC warmer; Antigua and St. Croix were between 0.25 oC cooler and 0.25 oC warmer; St. Kitts was between 0 and 0.25 oC warmer;  St. Maarten and St. Thomas were between 0.25 and 0.75 oC warmer; In the Guianas, conditions ranged from 0.75 oC cooler to 0.75 oC warmer. March to May 2021

Trinidad was between 0.75 oC cooler to 0.25 oC  warmer; Tobago was between 0.25 and 0.75 oC warmer; Grenada and St. Croix were between 0.25 oC cooler to  0.25 oC warmer; Barbados and Dominica were between 0.75 oC cooler to 0.75 oC warmer; Saint Lucia was between 0.25 oC warmer to 0.75 oC  cooler south to north; Martinique was between 0.25 oC cooler to 0.75 oC warmer south to north; Guadeloupe was between 0 and 0.75 oC cooler; Antigua was between 0 and 0.25 oC cooler; St. Kitts was between 0 and 0.25 oC warmer; St. Maarten was between 0 and 0.75 oC warmer; St. Thomas was between 0.25 and 1.50 oC warmer. December 2020 to May 2021

Trinidad and Martinique were between 0.25 oC cooler and 0.75 oC warmer; Tobago and St. Maarten and were between 0.25 to 0.75 oC warmer; Grenada was between 0 and 0.75 oC warmer; Barbados and Dominica were between 0.75 oC cooler to 0.75 oC warmer; Saint Lucia was between 0.25 oC warmer to 0.75 oC cooler south to north; Guadeloupe was predominantly between 0.25 to 0.75 oC cooler with western sections between 0 and 0.25 oC cooler; Antigua was between 0 and 0.25 oC cooler; St. Kitts was between 0 and 0.25 oC warmer; St. Croix was between 0.25 oC cooler and 0.25 oC warmer; St. Thomas was between 0.25 and 1.50 oC warmer. Conditions in the Guianas ranged from at least 1.50 oC cooler to 0.75 oC warmer. Aruba was between 0 and 0.25 oC warmer. Curacao was between 0.25 and 0.75 oC cooler. Puerto Rico and Northern Bahamas were between 0 and 1.50 oC warmer. Dominican Republic and Belize were between 0 and 0.75 oC, warmer. Cuba and Grand Cayman were between 0.25 and 0.75 oC warmer. Jamaica was between 0.75 oC cooler and 1.50 oC warmer.

Mixed conditions prevailed in the islands of the eastern Caribbean for the Twelve-month period, June 2020 to May 2021. Trinidad, Tobago, Grenada and St. Maarten were between 0.25 and 0.75 oC warmer; Barbados and Dominica were between 0.25 oC cooler to 0.75 oC warmer; Saint Lucia was between 0.25 oC warmer to 0.25 oC cooler south to north; Martinique and St. Croix were between 0 and 0.75 oC warmer; Guadeloupe was between 0 to 0.75 oC cooler; Antigua was between 0 to 0.25 oC cooler; St. Kitts was between 0 to 0.25 oC warmer; St. Thomas was between 0.75 and 1.50 oC warmer. Jamaica ranged from normal in central areas to exceptionally dry in the west and to severely dry in the extreme southeast. Grand Cayman was slightly wet. Cuba ranged from moderately dry in west central areas to moderately wet in the east. Northern Bahamas ranged from normal to moderately dry. Belize was predominantly normal ranging to moderately wet in southern and eastern areas, and to slightly dry in the north.

March to May 2021

The islands of the eastern Caribbean experienced mixed conditions over the three month period. Trinidad exceptional to moderately wet west to east; Tobago moderately wet; Grenada extreme to moderately wet; Barbados slightly dry; St Vincent, Saint Lucia and St Thomas normal; Martinique slight to severely dry; Dominica normal to moderately dry; Guadeloupe normal to extremely dry; Antigua severely dry; St Kitts moderate to severely dry; St Maarten normal to severely dry; Anguilla normal to slightly wet; St Croix moderate to slightly dry south to north.  Conditions in the Guianas ranged from normal to exceptionally wet. Aruba was normal and Curacao moderately wet. Puerto Rico ranged from moderately wet in the northwest to slightly dry in the east. Hispaniola was slightly wetin  the northwest covering most of Haiti, to normal in the east and south covering most of the Dominican Republic.  Jamaica ranged from normal in central areas to extremely dry in the west and to severely dry in the east. Grand Cayman was normal. Cuba ranged from exceptionally dry in west central areas to normal in the east. Northern Bahamas was normal to extremely dry and Belize was predominantly normal ranging to moderately wet in central areas, slightly wet in the south and moderately dry in the west.

December 2020 to May 2021

Conditions were mixed over the six month period throughout the eastern Caribbean. Trinidad extremely wet to normal; Tobago, Barbados and St Vincent normal; Grenada moderate to slightly wet south to north; Saint Lucia and St Thomas predominantly normal with slightly dry conditions in some areas; Martinique moderately dry; Dominica moderate to slightly dry; Guadeloupe slight to extremely dry; Antigua extreme to exceptionally dry; St Kitts moderate to extremely dry; St Maarten extremely dry in the south to normal in the north; Anguilla slightly dry to slightly wet south to north and St Croix severe to moderately dry. In the Guianas conditions ranged from normal to exceptionally wet, with a small area to the north experiencing below normal rainfall. Aruba was normal and Curacao slightly wet. Puerto Rico ranged from normal to moderately dry west to east.  Hispaniola was predominantly normal ranging to slightly wet conditions on the central Haiti/Dominican Republic border and to severely dry in the extreme southern areas.  Jamaica was normal in central areas ranging to severely dry in the west and east. Grand Cayman was normal. Cuba ranged from exceptionally dry in west central areas to normal in the east. Northern Bahamas ranged from normal to exceptionally dry, and Belize ranged from moderately dry in the southwest to moderately wet in the north.
